Being a member of the Drumheller Chamber allows you to be actively involved in the Drumheller business community. Your local Chamber provides advocacy on behalf of its members, as well as important networking events that allow you to get out in the community, introduce your business, and get noticed. The value of this is immeasurable.

In 2014, the Business Advocacy Committee was established to play an advocacy role on behalf of business members in the community, and to work with business and government to develop and implement policies designed to ensure Drumheller and district provides an atmosphere that is conducive to business and sustainable community growth. The Committee meets on the first Wednesday of every month at 12:00 pm, in the Chamber board room. All Chamber members are welcome to attend.
Our Chamber is also a member of the Alberta Chambers of Commerce and Canadian Chamber of Commerce.

Self-Promotion and Communication
As a member of the Chamber of Commerce you will receive a copy of our monthly e-newsletter, Chamber Connections, at the beginning of each month. The newsletter features an assortment of articles to keep you up-to-date on what is happening at the DDCC and around our community. The Chamber also sends out a monthly member-focused newsletter, Member Monday, which helps members share information on their events, promotions, and other news to fellow members.
All DDCC members will be listed on our website, www.drumhellerchamber.com, with relevant contact information and a link to your company’s website or any social media pages. The Chamber can also provide social media promotion—the Chamber retweets, shares and likes member’s social media content to expand their reach.

Members also have the potential to benefit from business referrals. The Chamber of Commerce frequently receives inquiries about businesses in our community.
The Chamber of Commerce strives to use our Chamber members whenever possible for our Chamber needs, such as venues for meetings and events, and as suppliers of various products and services.
The Chamber of Commerce also offers a meeting space with a capacity of up to 14 people, as well as a range of audiovisual equipment for rental. Members receive a discounted rental fee on the meeting space and equipment rental. Please call our office for booking inquiries.
