Seven(7) applications for capital projects were received by the Chamber of Commerce following a call for submissions from August 1 to September 30. These applications, submitted by non-for-profits and other formally organized groups, reflected a strong commitment to community development and improvement.
The successful applicants for 2025 are the Badlands Amphitheatre, Homestead Museum, Rosebud School of the Arts and Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22 Drumheller. The Badlands Amphitheatre will receive $10,000 to support the HUB renovation project. The Homestead Museum will be provided with $1,706 for outdoor signage. The Rosebud Community Pavillion project will receive $10,000 in funds via Rosebud School of the Arts. Lastly, $18,294 will be provided to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 22 Drumheller for electrical and accessibility upgrades to their building.

Since the creation of the World’s Largest Dinosaur Legacy Fund in 2004, the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce has invested over $890,000 in the Drumheller region. This funding has supported 46 non-profit organizations and 52businesses, including $250,000 to the Town of Drumheller to construct the Badlands Community Facility.
