It all started when we wanted to move to Three Hills for my husband's family, and we were also looking for something to do for our retirement. He's an IT, and I'm in sales, so we took over the store in Three Hills in 2014. We then decided to open in Drumheller once our clients began to ask when we'll open here. Once we found a building that could accommodate our store, we opened in 2018.
That we have stock. So they can buy off the floor and purchase immediately in the store. We also offer financing that fits their needs, and that's always a big plus for our clients.
Covid hits us pretty hard. We laid off all our staff, and my husband and I looked after the store. We barely sold anything, but I have to stay open for those who need appliances. It is considered a necessity, and we look forward to more sales with the opening of restrictions.
Located at the back of our store, we have Kwilting Korner. We offer a huge selection of fabrics and notions. It started as a passion project in 2020, and now we even have classes for community members who want to learn quilting. You can check our classes at https://www.facebook.com/Kwilting-Korner-109342791203716.
The company benefits are one big advantage for us here in Traders.
