At the November 23, 2020 council meeting, the Town of Drumheller declared a State of Local Emergency (SOLE) with aims to help control the spread of COVID-19 in the community. Read the press release.

On Wednesday, November 18, 2020 our Chamber was pleased to partner with the Utilities Consumer Advocate for a webinar for Small Businesses. The webinar was recorded and is now available for viewing. Due to some brief technical difficulties the recording is in two parts.
On November 12 the Government of Alberta announced additional health measures in light of the continual rise of COVID-19 cases in the province:
'Starting Nov. 13, all restaurants, bars, lounges and pubs in regions under enhanced status must cease liquor sales by 10 p.m. and close by 11 p.m. The restriction will remain in place until Nov. 27.
There will also be a two-week ban on indoor group fitness classes, team sport activities and group performance activities in Edmonton and surrounding areas, Calgary and surrounding areas, Grande Prairie, Fort McMurray, Red Deer and Lethbridge.
