Your local Chamber of Commerce had another busy Small Business Week!
On September 14, Drumheller Town Council gave first reading to a new Municipal Development Plan (MDP) and Land Use Bylaw. The public hearing is scheduled for October 26th. On October 22 at 12:00pm, local businesses were invited to join the Drumheller Chamber and the Drumheller Resiliency and Flood Mitigation Office for an overview on the MDP and LUB.
The meeting was held via Zoom; you can view the recording here.
Our Women in Business mixer happens once per year during Small Business Week (third full week of October) and provides a fun, laid-back evening of networking for women in the area.
The 9th annual Women in Business Mixer is scheduled for Thursday, October 22, 2020, from 5:00-6:30pm. Find out more
On Tuesday, October 13, 2020 the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce will be celebrating a significant milestone. This day will mark the 20th Anniversary of the World’s Largest Dinosaur.
To celebrate, we will have a brief program starting at 1:30pm in front of the Dinosaur, followed by cake and refreshments. Seats are limited so we do require attendees to RSVP. Please call the Chamber at 403-823-8100 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to attend.
Our Business Advocacy Committee would like to hear from you, our local businesses, on the selling of consumer fireworks in Drumheller.
