In mid-July to mid-August this past year, the Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce ran a Shop Local activity called Mission:Possible, inspired by the Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce. Each week, locals were given tasks to complete at local businesses and around the community for chances to win weekly prizes and the Grand Prize Staycation Package valued at $1,000.

With the holiday season upon us, we decided to run it again with a festive theme. Each week from November 22-December 13th, two tasks are announced each Monday on the Mission Possible page. 'Secret agents' must complete both tasks and submit their photographic evidence by the following Sunday night for entry.

Our 2021 Shop Local campaign is funded by the Government of Canada. Each round of Mission Possible puts $2,000 worth of local prizes into the community!
