The Small and Medium Enterprise Relaunch Grant offers financial assistance to Alberta organizations (businesses, cooperatives and non-profits) that were ordered to close or curtail operations, and that experienced a revenue reduction of at least 30%, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
To support businesses affected by the public health measures introduced in April 2021, a spring 2021 application period opened April 23.
We strongly encourage you to review the program guidelines before applying, as you have to include funds from previously-received COVID-19 programs in your calculations.
The Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a partnership with the Town of Drumheller and Community Futures Big Country to provide a new grant for local businesses. The Building Enhancement Grant program will replace the Storefront Improvement Grant and the Interior Building Improvement Grant previously offered by the Town of Drumheller.
Presently the Drumheller & District Chamber of Commerce (DDCC) Board of Directors has a vacancy. As per our by-laws, the Board may appoint a member to fill the vacant position. The appointment would be valid only until the next Annual General Meeting (March 2022) at which time the Director position would be filled by election.
The Drumheller and District Chamber of Commerce welcomed two new Board members at our Annual General Meeting held virtually on Tuesday, March 23. Newly elected to the Board for three-year terms are Lisa Magee of ProPlan Financial Group/The Co-operators and Brandi Schneider of Drumheller Registries. Joanne Contenti of Scotiabank and Bob Sheddy of The Drumheller Mail were also re-elected to the board for three-year terms.
